Pedro M. Herrera is an ecologist, expert in pastoralism and land use. He works as project director for Entretantos Foundation, a small Spanish NGO focused on citizens’ participation in rural development, environment and sustainable food policies and facilitates the Spanish Platform on Extensive Livestock Farming and Pastoralism.

Following the panel we will break out into groups to explore: What are the root causes we need to address in Europe to make a transformation of animal source food consumption and production desirable, affordable and accessible?
