Line Rise Nielsen has more than 10 years of experience at various public institutions at City of Copenhagen, Copenhagen House of Foods and the Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Fisheries of Denmark. Line has a background in political science, and has worked in policy making, fundraising and strategic consulting for government. She was project leader of developing and implementing a new concept of school food in Copenhagen.
With a deep knowledge and expertise regarding the food system and various stakeholders, Line has overseen designing both EU-projects and large national projects in Denmark. With a large network she always works with both practitioners and academia. She has a profound belief in using the public kitchen as a driver towards a sustainable food system.
